AOKP JB-MR1 Build 6 Released with Themeable Lockscreen & New Features

AOKP 4.2.2 Build 6 Milestone 1 (AOKP-JB-MR1) has been released is now available for download. This build, like build 5, is based on Android 4.2.2 and brings some new features in addition to bug fixes and enhancements to existing features. AOKP team also promises to bring big announcements and changes coming in April. Here are some of new features in this release:

New Devices: In addition to these cool new features, the developers have also added support for AOKP 4.2.2 on Samsung Vibrant (vibrantmtd).

You can now download aokp_jb-mr1_build-6.zip ROM and flash it on your device. Download link for your device can be found on official AOKP website. Since it is a custom ROM, you will need to have a custom recovery (like ClockworkMod or Touch Recovery) installed on your device to be able to flash this ROM. You will also need to flash the Google Apps package manually as it is not included with to ROM. To download and install it, you will need to perform following steps:

Step 1: Backup your device data as it will be lost during the process

Step 2: Download AOKP JB-MR Build 6 for your device.

Step 3: Download GApps (Google Apps package).

Step 4: Follow our step by step guide to flash a ROM in CWM Recovery mode.
