Install Samsung USB Drivers for Mobile Phones without Kies (Windows 8, 7, XP)

Step 3: Run the downloaded exe file (run it as administrator).

Step 4: Follow steps in the installation wizard to complete the process.

Samsung Android USB Drivers should now be installed on your PC. To confirm successful installation:

  1. Download and extract the zip file.
  2. Run Odin3_v3.04.exe as administrator.
  3. Put your device in download mode.
  4. Connect your device to the computer.
  5. Odin will detect your device and will display the COM port number in one of ID:COM boxes (box will also turn yellow).

If Odin still does not detect your device, you can try repeating the process and using a different USB port.
