Sprint Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Jelly Bean 4.2.1 OTA Update Rolling Out Now

Sprint Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 4.2.1 Jelly Bean update has just started rolling out. The firmware update P500VPBMB2 brings Android 4.2.1 to 10.1 inch Tab 2 SPH-P500 devices who were, till now, running on Android ICS. Along with the Jelly Bean goodness, this software update will fix WiFi issues with your device. Here is what’s new:

Install P500 VPBMB2 OTA on Sprint Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

The software update is currently being rolled out and your device should receive it soon. You can manually check for updates by following this step: navigate to Settings > About phone and tap on “Check for updates”. System will then check for any software updates available for your device. Once you see the P500VPBMB2 software update available, you can install it directly on your device by following the onscreen instructions.
