Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Android 4.1.2 Update Rolling Out Now

Samsung has started rolling out the stock Jelly Bean 4.1.2 for Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 tablet. The update P3110ZSDMB4 is currently being rolled out and your device may get it soon. However, if you do not wish to wait, you can download and manually install P3110 ZSDMB4 update using Odin. It’s pretty straightforward and takes minutes to install it. Details are as under:

Version: Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean JZO54K

Download & Install ZSDMB4 on P3110 Galaxy Tab 2 7.0

Pre requisites:

  1. Your device should be well charged.
  2. Device drivers should be installed on the PC that you will be using.
  3. Enable USB Debugging on your device.
  4. Samsung Kies should not be running.
  5. Backup your important data before continuing.

Step 1: Download the ROM P3110ZSDMB4_P3110TGYDMB4_TGY.zip

Step 2: Extract the ROM zip file to get .tar.md5 firmware file.

Step 3: Download Odin: Odin3_v3.04.zip.

Step 4: Launch Odin app.

Step 5: Boot your device in download mode.

Step 6: Connect your device to the computer once its in download mode.

Once the device is connected, Odin will detect your device.

Step 7: In Odin, click on “PDA” button, then browse and select the .tar.md5 firmware file.

Step 8: Now click on “Start” button to kick off the process.

This will flash ZSDMB4 on P3110. Your device will then reboot into newly installed OS. You can confirm it from settings > about whether the new OS was installed. P3110ZSDMB4 should show up in phone info. Enjoy!
