Download & Install Android 4.2 Camera apk with Photo Sphere on 4.1.x
If you have been waiting for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean’s Camera Sphere port for Android 4.1, Ice Cream Sandwich or Gingerbread, your wait is over as the Camera / Gallery app has been made available for download. You can download and install Photo Sphere apk on your device right now. However, be informed that it may not have all the features and we may still have to wait till Android 4.2 ROM becomes available.
Google announced Android 4.2 Jelly Bean a few days ago. One of the most awesome features was the Camera Sphere panorama mode that allowed you to take photos in 360 degree panorama mode. This feature, along with many other cool features like Gesture Typing, was made available for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean only. It may not work well on older versions of Android as it may have some dependencies on the OS.
You can definitely give it a try. As always, continue at your own risk and make sure to backup your ROM so that you can restore back to it if things get messed up. Android Ice Cream Sandwich and Gingerbread users may want to give it a try too, although its not recommended. Here are the download links followed by instructions on how to install it:
