Install Galaxy S2 (Canada) Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update

The firmware update I9100MUGMA5 is now available. The update brings stock Jelly Bean 4.1.2 to Virgin Mobile and Bell Galaxy S2 devices in Canada. Samsung has been rolling out Jelly Bean update to Galaxy S2 devices globally for past few days. Now when the Canada Galaxy S2 I9100M UGMA5 Jelly Bean update has become available, you can download it and flash it on your device using Odin.

Other models of Galaxy S2 have also been receiving the update for last few days. I9100 was the first device to get the update, followed by I9100T and I9100G.

  1. I installed this and now I am missing the data network toggle on my phone. I installed the firmware for Bell Galaxy S2.

    1. Had to go deeper into More Settings… -> Mobile Networks -> and check the Mobile DataTo be honest I like this more, now when I turn on Wi-Fi it immediately usurps the Data, but as soon as Wi-Fi is off, the Data kicks in, and I don’t need to turn it on
