Samsung unveiled it’s latest Android flagship device Galaxy S4 last month. The device comes in different variants depending on the region. Each variant has a different model number. Most common Galaxy S4 models are GT-I9500 and GT-I9505. It’s important to understand the difference between I9500 & I9505 models. Both these models look and feel exactly the same but have slightly different internals.
It’s I9500 or I9505? How to Check Galaxy S4 Model Number
You can’t tell the difference just by looking at the phone. Both these models don exactly the same look & feel and also weigh the same. The only way you can tell the difference is by checking the model number of device in hand.
Navigate to Settings > About and look for the Model Number.

Both run the latest version of Android OS (Latest version at the moment is Jelly Bean 4.2.2). Other hardware specs are very much the same too.
