It’s time to flash AOKP Android 4.2.2 ROM! The popular custom ROM AOKP is now based on Android 4.2.2 starting from AOKP JB-MR1 Build 4. Along with the addition of latest Jelly Bean 4.2.2, AOKP MR1 Build 4 adds support for some more devices and also has some bug fixes from the previous release. Here is the list of new devices:
- evita – HTC One XL
- maserati – Motorola Droid 4 (XT894)
- solana – Motorola Droid 3 (XT862)
- spyder – Motorola Droid RAZR (VZW / XT912)
- targa – Motorola Droid Bionic (XT875)
- toroplus – Galaxy Nexus (Sprint)
- umts_spyder – Motorola Droid RAZR (GSM / XT910)
In it’s previous build, released earlier this month, support for AOKP for Galaxy S2 smartphone was added. Build 2 brought Galaxy S3 and more Nexus devices while Build 1 supported fewer Nexus devices only.
Download AOKP JB-MR1 Build 4
You can now download and install AOKP 4.2.2 on supported devices. Direct download links can be found at this link: aokp.co/release-jb-mr1-build-4/.
You will also need to download and manually install GApps alongside the AOKP ROM. To get latest Google Apps package, follow this link: download GApps.
