Chainfire Releases Tool to Root Galaxy S4 with Leaked Android 4.3 JWR66N ROM
You can now root Galaxy S4 4.3 JWR66N, thanks to Chainfire’s Auto Root. The famous developer has released SuperSU-JWR66N-S005-130625, the first tool to Root 4.3 Android Jelly Bean. It’s still in experimental stage but works well for Galaxy S4 GE leaked ROM. For those who don’t know, Galaxy S4 Google Edition’s ROM got leaked and I9505GUEUBMFP firmware was made available for download for GT-I9505 users. The users who updated to this leaked build got the Android 4.3 on their devices but lost their root in the process.
Chainfire brings fully functional SuperSU v1.34 to Galaxy S4 JB 4.3 – the devices with Google Edition S4’s leaked ROM. Also it’s the first ever tool to root Android 4.3 on any device. According to the developer:
This experimental version of SuperSU especially for this specific firmware leak. In theory it should also work on those protected engineering firmwares from Samsung that have gone around lately, but I have not tested it on any of those. Let’s keep it to the leaked S4 4.3 firmware for the first test, shall we ?
