Official Galaxy Ace 2 Jelly Bean is now rolling out. You can now download I8160XXMC8 firmware and install it on your device. This update brings Android 4.1.2 on Galaxy Ace 2 GT-I8160 smartphones. It’s now being rolled out via OTA update and can also be installed using Samsung Kies. Alternatively, you can manually install the official Jelly Bean 4.1.2 on Ace 2 I8160. Firmware details are as under:

How to Update Galaxy Ace 2 to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 I8160 XXMC8
You can update Ace 2 to JB 4.1.2 using any of following ways whichever works best for you:
1. I8160XXMC8 OTA Update:
Navigate to Menu > Settings and tap on Update Firmware. It will then check to see if a software update was available for your phone. Once you see an update available, tap on it and follow onscreen instructions to download and install it. Before updating, be sure you are connected to a WiFi network.
2. Samsung Kies
Connect your phone to computer and run Samsung Kies. Now soon as Kies recognizes the connected device, a pop-up window will appear notifying you of the software update available (if an update is available). On this window, click on Update to start the process.
3. Manually Install I8160XXMC8 Firmware on Galaxy Ace 2
Download the firmware: I8160XXMC8_I8160TMNMC3_TMN.zip
